Flemingsberg is a very exciting place with a fantastic location in the Stockholm region. The expansion of the Flemingsberg valley makes this a perfect place for our aparthotel flagship. In addition, Flemingsberg is only a 19 minutes SJ train ride to Stockholm Central Station and 11 minutes to Södertälje South.
Over 200 apartments in a great location
Annika Öman, project manager, tells that this hotel is suitable for both the bleasure (business and pleasure) guest traveling on a budget as well as the guest who needs long-term accommodation (for example near the local hospital). She continues that Flemingsberg is a great location for our flagship store, saying that “it’s an up and coming area that used to be a bit rough. A little bit like Londons Shoreditch.”
Of the 205 apartments, most are built as studios, but there will also be two-bedroom apartments and a few three-bedroom apartments. The larger apartments will have washing machine and dryer, while the smaller will have a common laundry room. The apartments are rented fully equipped and furnished in periods from days up to eleven months.
Opening date is right around the corner
The proximity to a larger supermarket, gym, cafés, and restaurants makes this an attractive accommodation for our guests. Flemingsberg is one of Northern Europe’s most important areas of medical technology. Here you will find Södertörn University and parts of the Karolinska Institute and Royal Institute of Technology. The area also includes Huddinge University Hospital, Novum Research Park and Södertörn’s District Court. The Police Academy is currently also moving to Flemingsberg.
With the train station in direct connection, the guests will be able to live here and work all over the region. The ground floors of the apartment complex will accommodate a fitness center which combines gym with receptions for physiotherapists, naprapaths and chiropractors.
We are in the final stretch of the construction of Forenom South Aparthotel. In August 2015, plans for Forenom’s new flagship began to emerge. And now, almost two years later we are only a few months to launch.
Why this aparthotel? Let’s ask interior designers Rachel Näppä & Nina Mäkihannu:
What’s different about this Aparthotel’s interior design and feeling?
This Aparthotel’s interior design concept has a bolder and Scandinavian feel to it, it looks and feels fresh, but is still inviting and comfortable…as home should be. We wanted to make small moments in the design that would make the customers feel cozy and welcomed in long and short stays.
What kind of person is this hotel suitable for?
It sounds general but… everyone ? from business travelers and people looking to explore what the city has to offer to families with children looking for a home-like place to stay. Huddinge Hospital is walking distance from our New Aparthotel, so we are aiming to cater for patients and families of patients in need of long or short term stay close by.
What do you love in the area or in the Aparthotel itself?
I love that the location and the Hotel can provide a community for those staying there. It’s very trendy yet home-like and has all of the amenities that one could expect at home. It’s also seconds away from Flemingsberg rail station so you can get to the city pretty fast for work of for leisure.
