Accessibility statement
At Forenom, we believe that digital experiences should be accessible to everyone.
This accessibility statement explains the current state of accessibility on our website and outlines the steps we’re taking to improve. We share this to demonstrate our commitment to inclusivity, to acknowledge areas where we can do better, and to be transparent about our progress toward accessibility standards.
We are committed to making our digital services accessible and usable by all people, regardless of ability. Our goal is to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and to comply with relevant accessibility regulations, including the European Accessibility Act.
Accessibility Status
While our platform does not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, we recognize that some areas may present barriers to users with disabilities. We have identified key accessibility gaps and are actively working to close them by integrating accessibility into our design and development processes. These improvements are part of our ongoing efforts to create a more inclusive experience over time.
Known Accessibility Limitations
- We are aware of the following issues and are actively working to resolve them :
- Some images may not yet include appropriate alternative text, which can limit understanding for users who rely on screen readers.
- Our Help site is powered by a third-party platform, which may limit our ability to fully control its accessibility features. While we do our best to select vendors that align with accessibility standards, some aspects of the Help experience may not meet the same level of accessibility as our main platform.
- Some pages may lack a consistent semantic HTML structure, which can make it harder for screen readers and other assistive technologies to interpret content hierarchy and page regions. We are working to improve markup consistency to better support navigation and understanding for all users.
- Some parts of the platform may offer limited support for certain assistive technologies such as screen readers or keyboard navigation tools.
What we are doing about it
Accessibility improvements are included in our ongoing development roadmap. Our efforts currently focus on:
- Enhancing keyboard accessibility and focus states
- Adding and validating alt text for all meaningful images
- Improving color contrast across interactive elements
- Auditing ARIA roles and ensuring semantic HTML markup
We are applying these changes iteratively and conducting internal reviews throughout the process.
