Last weekend, my husband Tuomas and I decided to take a short getaway to Tampere. We booked a room at Forenom, and it turned out to be one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. The apartment offered plenty of space with two bedrooms, a large entryway, and a bathroom so spacious you could practically host a dance party (though not allowed at Forenom 😉). It even came equipped with a washing machine, and the spacious open kitchen provided all the comfort and convenience we needed.

It was a true pleasure to make breakfast at our own pace, without the pressure to rush anywhere. I have never been good at eating in the mornings and need time for my body to fully wake up. Mornings require time and space for me, as my body is quite sensitive. If I am forced to rush or stick to a schedule, I start feeling unwell quickly. Having a private kitchen in the accommodation is such a luxury!

The apartment hotel had a slight hotel vibe, which made the stay feel special. The beds were beautifully made, everything was clean and tidy, and the towels were neatly placed on the beds. When you go on holiday or travel with family, you want to feel like you are on vacation, and the accommodation plays a big role in that. It is wonderful to slip into fresh sheets and enjoy the convenience of an apartment hotel. The price includes final cleaning, so all you have to do is take out your trash and wash your dishes. The sheets and towels are washed, and the floors are cleaned for you. We always leave the room in good condition and make the beds. It is nice for the cleaner to come into a room where everything is in its place. This is our way of showing appreciation and gratitude for good accommodation. 

Location in Tampere city center 

We chose the Forenom apartment hotel in Tampere city center on Kauppakatu. The location was perfect for our needs, and it was just a short walk everywhere. We did not need to use our car at all, so it stayed parked for the whole weekend. We will definitely use this accommodation in the future as well.
