Forenom is giving free apartments for healthcare professionals to help fight coronavirus

Help for the Helpers by Forenom. #HelpTheHelpers

In April and May 2020 Forenom offers a total of 50 apartments completely free of charge for healthcare professionals in the Nordics in order to ease their daily lives during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Forenom, the leading serviced apartment provider in the Nordics, has started a campaign to help the healthcare professionals in the Nordic capitals. As many healthcare workers are now being relocated to another city or can’t stay at home in order to protect their family, they can now apply for complimentary apartments during their work periods in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Oslo.

“In the Nordics, the Coronavirus disease (COVID-2019) is so far affecting mostly the densely populated capital cities of Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. To show our love and gratitude, we want to help the helpers in these exceptional times,” says Johannes Kangas, CEO at Forenom.

To carry out the mission, Forenom has created a campaign page and reserved a fixed number of apartments in the Nordic capitals for the healthcare professionals to stay for free. Forenom’s home-like apartments are fully-furnished and equipped with everything needed for e.g. cooking and doing laundry. Additional services such as cleaning, parking or even a special hygiene package can be ordered from their 24/7 customer service.

“The idea is that it doesn’t matter whether you are temporarily working in the capital region or a local looking for a solution to stay closer to hospital or in more isolated conditions, you can visit our campaign page and apply for a complimentary accommodation”, explains Kangas.

During the first couple of days, Forenom has already received 12 applications as well as some heart-warming feedback.

“This is so great it makes me speechless! I think the campaign is wonderful and I will most definitely enjoy my time in the apartment provided,” says a Finnish nurse who was the first one to book a free accommodation.
