Forenom is now looking for hundreds of apartments in Copenhagen area – also for short term lease through new online platform Friday Flats.
Forenom faces high demand from corporate customers for furnished and unfurnished apartments in Copenhagen. New online platform Friday Flats has been launched to attract owners to offer properties also for short term lease.
“The availability of suitable apartments is the main barrier for our growth in Denmark” is the message of Oline Rasmussen, Country Manager of Forenom Denmark. “Due to the high demand from our corporate customers, I am ready to sign rental agreements as soon as I see a suitable apartment”, Rasmussen explains in a comment to the market situation that Forenom faces in Denmark.
“Unfurnished apartments for long term lease in central Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense are most attractive seen from our perspective. Our new platform called Friday Flats also allows us to manage furnished apartments which are available for a shorter period. Forenom is a perfect tenant for any type of owner. We pay the rent, take good care of the apartment and the employees of our customers stay like home in the apartments that we offer” Rasmussen summarizes the benefits that owners can achieve when renting an apartment to Forenom.
“In addition to attracting business customers and offering higher earnings potential, we are standing out from the competition thanks to a range of ancillary services. Forenom can help with a number of practical issues associated with apartment rentals. We offer owners’ additional services such as customer service by telephone and online, key handover, final cleaning etc. These will also be available as part of the Friday Flats service,” says project director Veli-Pekka Pulkkinen, explaining the Friday Flats concept.
What sets Forenom’s Friday Flats service apart from other competing accommodation service portals is the company’s strong position as a corporate accommodation service provider in the Nordic countries. Apartment owners looking for a higher return can achieve this based on long-term accommodation contracts. “Our volumes indicate our position as a leading provider of corporate accommodation services,” says Forenom’s Chief Operating Officer Jussi Saarinen. “Our capacity for business customers consists of more than 2,000 apartments, 7 aparthotels and 6 hostels, as well as high-end suites for demanding customers.”
Forenom serves around 6,000 business customers a year and accommodates a total of 50,000 people. With the Friday Flats service, Forenom is seeking significant growth in its existing market areas in the Nordic countries and project destinations, and aims to expand into new market areas.
